Kaija Saariaho
I’ve posted the second and sixth movements, or “butterflies” of Saariaho’s Sept Papillons. These were recorded in 2008 after working with Anssi Karttunen, the cellist for whom the piece was written. I was also lucky to play some butterflies for the composer.
